An update from November 2023: The carbon fiber doors from MComposit ended up showing up at the end of September. These were ordered at the end of January. While they are the only ones who make these parts, I would highly not recommend people to order from them unless you're okay with potentially not ever getting your parts, little to no communication from them, and excuses/lies as to why parts have not been produced or shipped.
Anyway, they did show up, and my body shop was able to fit/finish the two front doors on the car (photos below). The doors showed up in the same condition as the widebody kit did, so they needed a fair bit of work before they were ready/worthy to go on the other. The plan now is to have the body shop do 99% of the work needed on the rear doors while the car is at Redline, and then when it's done, to take the car back to the body shop and have them fit the rear doors. Also, the carbon fiber roof from 529 Innovations has also arrived at the body shop! So not only will the rear carbon doors be installed when it comes back from Redline, but also the carbon roof.
Also, I bought and installed a set of JQWerks carbon paddle shifter replacements. Very nice, very clicky.
The initial plan was to also install the rear doors before the car went to Redline for the build work at the end of the month, but I ended up dropping it off this past thursday. while the initially planned drop off date was the 30th of November, Brian said that they were ready for it now, so i went ahead and took it to them. Brian said that the build should be done in about two months, so I am planning on getting it back at the beginning/middle of january. it will be getting a full engine build. FFE sleeves, rods, pistons, valve train. upgraded clutches in the transmission, front LSD, new flywheel, supporting fuel upgrades of lpfp, upgraded fuel line from tank to engine bay, injectors, and maybe a surge tank. a hybrid turbo. rounded out with respective transmission and ECU tunes. should make around 700-750whp on e85. detailed list of the build parts below
